Ayuntamiento de Tolox

 

Located on the eastern edge of the Natural Park of Sierra de las Nieves, which is accessible to places as idyllic as the source of the river Verde. In 1989, the mountains of Tolox were declared a Natural Park Sierra de las Nieves, given its high ecological and landscape value. Its origin dates back to the Neolithic period that pottery remains were found in the Cueva de la Tinaja (cave), located about 4 km. of the urban area.
